First time on vinyl for this album (originally released in 1999).
"Eternelle Tourmente" is their coldest record by miles, deeply moving and full of melancholy. Sometimes close to The Cure's "Faith" album, with strong tracks like Toujours Ces Chants, Heure Matinale or Tristesse (version from french "réaliste" author Marie Mareau mostly known from Fréhel rendition). It also contains great medieval folk influences, latin references (Laudamus Te a classic opening of their gigs' setlists) and brilliant wave pop songs like Les Délices De La Moisson (with Carine Grieg -Collection D'Arnell-Andréa- on guest vocals like on some other tracks).
The limited 99 ex. vinyl edition contains a vial of "Tourmentine" powder to make you feel in a symbolic way the dark themes of the record (but do not try to use it it's only symbolic!!!).
